The engine workshop / Hands-on lab
A small machine. A real platform.
An Ubuntu mini-PC used to explore containerised services, tunnels, and self-hosted delivery workflows.
The problem
Build a practical environment for deploying services and learning infrastructure through real operational problems.
The work
- Configured an Ubuntu home server and Docker-based services.
- Exposed services using Cloudflare Tunnel.
- Set up a self-hosted GitHub runner and investigated server and connectivity issues.
The next chapter
Publish reproducible deployment instructions, recovery procedures, and measured results. The separate deployment-tool concept remains a personal prototype.
Based on the author’s reported project experience. Public repositories, demos, and measured outcomes will be added when available.
